The EZ STREET technology allows the product to adhere to itself and surrounding material but not to tyres and equipment. It is very EZ to use and requires no mixing or tack coat. - It is not necessary to saw cut edges with EZ STREET when carrying out repairs and the product does not need any tack coat.
- There is no waste with EZ STREET as the material not used on the day can be stockpiled for another 6 months ,this not possible with either conventional cold mix or with hot mix.
- EZ STREET repairs can be opened to traffic immediately, this is not the case with hot material.
- EZ STREET works in water which during the winter months is extremely valuable.
EZ STREET is manufactured in Ireland to the highest specification. The material is also British Board of Agrement ( BBA ) approved to use on highways in the UK. The product has a very high SRV ( SKID RESISTANCE VALUE ) and is made from a 6mm aggregate.
EZ Street can be applied when air temperatures are between -18 degrees C and 38 degrees C.
EZ STREET should be compacted in lifts of 50 mm. For a 50 mm deep lift the material should be 25mm higher than the desired surface finish before compaction. This will ensure that enough EZ STREET will be forced into the hole or trench and proper compaction will be achieved.
